The Department of CSE — Data Science at ATME College of Engineering offers a four-year BE programme affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. The department combines a strong theoretical foundation with extensive lab work, projects and industry interaction to prepare graduates who are ready for the workplace and for higher studies.

Associate Professor, Computer Science & Engineering Department-DS

Data Science is a multidisciplinary field that combines computer science, statistics and domain knowledge to extract meaningful insights from data. At ATMECE, the CSE — Data Science programme is designed to equip students with strong fundamentals in programming, mathematics, machine learning, big data, data visualization and analytics, alongside hands-on exposure to modern tools and real-world datasets. Our dedicated faculty mentor students through capstone projects, internships, hackathons and research collaborations, encouraging them to build data-driven products, publish technical work and pursue higher studies. We are committed to preparing graduates who can responsibly use data to solve societal and industrial problems and excel in the rapidly evolving data-driven economy.
