Solar Rooftop System

  1. We have a 250 KVA transformer with a 70 KVA contract load from the Electricity Board, supported by a centralized distribution panel for the individual blocks with full safety equipment.
  2. As a backbone, we also have a 100 KW Diesel Generator.
  3. We have installed a 95 KWp Solar Rooftop Photovoltaic (Grid-Tied) System.
  • SERAPHIM 315 Wp solar panels making up the 95 KWp array
  • GoodWe inverters – 25 KW, 4 nos.
  • Safety installations include lightning arresters, metal board and inverter earthing
  • Modules are mounted on MS skillion truss-type structures inclined at 35°; the space under the array is fully utilized
  • Contract period with the Electricity Board: 25 years at ₹9.56 per unit

Solar SRTPV Conclusion – a small effort towards an environmentally friendly campus.

Assured units generated – 1,500 units annually per kW – considering 1 hour of power failure per day on average, average generation of 5 units/kW, and 310 sunny days per year in Mysore.1,47,250 Units / Year
